More Kali or More Koozh is a very old traditional recipe. It is made with rice flour and buttermilk(slightly sour).To enhance the taste and add some spice to it some More milagai(chillies)are added.It is really fast  and easy to make.

Rice flour                    - 1 cup

Sour Curd                    - 1 cup
Asafoetida powder      - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt                              - to taste


Mustard seeds                       - 1 teaspoon
Urid dhal                                 - 1 teaspoon
Gingely oil                               - 4 tablespoon
Curry leaves                         - 1 sprig
Mor milagaai  / red chillies  - 5 nos


Blend sour curd with half cup of water.
Mix rice flour, blended curd, asafoetida powder & salt and mix thoroughly(If needed add some more water. The mix must not be thick and must be like butter milk.)
Heat one tbsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,urad dal, curry leaves moru milagai,  and fry till they turn golden brown.
Add the rice flour mix to the pan and mix well and cook in medium flame.
Once in 2 minutes, add remaining oil and mixwell .

When the mixture don’t stick in your hands, mor kali is ready and remove from flame.
Spread it on a greased plate, and allow it to cool down for sometime and cut into desired shapes.
Yummy more kali is reday to eat.
