HOMEMADE EGGLESS STRAWBERRY ICECREAM

Enjoy this summer with home made eggless strawberry ice cream. You can prepare this ice cream with fresh strawberries, but I have tried it with some morde strawberry chocolates.I had some chocolates in my pantry, so I tried with that, it came out well.I prepared strawberry ice cream pudding with this.

The hardest part of home made ice cream is the patience.Freeze for at least 4-6 hours. It’s really better if you freeze it overnight, so try to make your ice cream the day before you need it so it’s nice and firm.

INGREDIENTS

Strawberry  chocolate                   - 1 cup grated
   Fresh cream                                  -1/2 cup
   Milk                                                 - 2 1/2 cups

Sugar                                             - 1/3 cup

Corn flour                                        - 1 tablespoon

Strawberry essence                           - few drops

METHOD

Heat half cup milk in a pan. Add grated chocolate and simmer, stirring, till smooth. In another pan boil the remaining milk with sugar.
Mix corn flour in two tablespoons of water and add to the milk and simmer for three minutes. Add chocolate mixture and mix well.
Remove from flame and cool completely.
Add fresh cream and straw berry essence and mix well.
Pour this mixture  into a shallow container and  keep it in the freezer, allow it to set till firm.
Take  out from the freezer and blend in a blender till smooth and thick.
Transfer into the shallow container.
Cover the container  and  again  freeze till it is set.

Home made strawberry ice cream is ready.

Garnish with strawberry and serve.

VARIATION

If you get fresh strawberries, you can prepare with that.

Chop 1 cup of strawberries and mix it with 1 cup of heavy cream and add 3/4 th cup of sugar and

3/4th cup of milk whisk well with the whisker adding strawberry essence and freeze the mixture.

Once it is set take out from the freezer and once again whisk or blend till smooth and thick and again

freeze it till it is set.
