Kids always hesitate to drink milk, For those kids if
we prepare milk based fruit drinks, juices or milk shakes with their favourite
fruits, they love to drink and a healthy one too. This milk based fruit juices balance the diet and include proteins vitamins and minerals.Fruit based milkshakes are a good
way to have proteins as well as essential vitamins and
they are quick and easy to prepare. Not only for kids, this milk shake is good health drink for elders too.A best drink for weight watchers.Here I have prepared a milk shake
with green apple and guava. Guava fruit is rich in Vitamin C and dietary fibre. Green apples helps you improve your skin texture and helps you lose weight. For this shake guavas have to be ripe and the flesh should be soft. You can use regular guavas as well as pink guavas. I have used green ripe guavas.
INGREDIENTS
Medium sized guavas - 3 nos (chopped)
Green apple - 1 no (chopped)
Chilled Milk - 2 to 3 cups
Honey - 3 tbsps
METHOD
Wash the guavas, and apple, peel off the skin and chop into small pieces
and blend guavas and apples seperately to a pulp adding 1 cup of milk.
Don’t blend too much as the seeds in the guava also get ground and the tiny grits in
the juice will feel like sand in the milk shake.
Strain the pulp using a strainer, with the help of the spoon stir the
pulp, so that you will get the smooth pulp.
Collect the pulp in the blender jar and add the remaining milk and the apple pulp and blend
it well adding honey.
Your 2G milk shake is ready to
drink.
