CORIANDER IDLI


    Another variety idli for you all friends, Green coriander idli.This Coriander Idli can be taken     without any accompaniments. Coriander leaves are be rich in Iron and good for digestion and       general health. You can serve this for breakfast or for your dinner.

   INGREDIENTS

    Idli batter                                                 - 2 cups
   Chopped coriander leaves             -  1 cup chopped
   Greenchillies                                        - 4 nos
   Tamarind                                              - gooseberry sized(optional)
   Small  onions                                      - 5 nos
   Salt                                                         - ¼ tsp

   FOR SEASONING
  
   Oil                                                              - 1 tsp
    Mustard seeds                                     - ½ tsp






     METHOD

     Wash and grind the coriander leaves with green chillies, small onions salt and tamarind to a            smooth paste and keep aside.
    Season the mustard seeds in the oil and add it to th Idli batter.
    Mix the coriander paste to the idli batter and mix it well.
    Pour this batter into greased idli moulds and steam-cook for 10 mins.
    Tasty, greeny, spicy  Coriander Idlis are ready to  serve.
    No need of any accompaniments for this coriander idli.
    If you want serve with sambar the best accompaniment for all idlis.









    VARIATION
You can use mint leaves or curry leaves or mix all the three together and gind to a smooth paste and add to the batter and prepare idlis.
