PINEAPPLE FRITTERS

Pineapple fritter has a mild tangy, sweet taste. The mild spice of pepper powder enhances the taste of this fritter. Everyone loves this superb tea time snack because of its irresistible taste.

 INGREDIENT

Pineapple peeled                                                 -1 no medium
Maida / all purpose flour                                 -1 cup + ½ cup for dusting pineapples
Corn flour                                                               -2 tablespoons
Cardamom powder                                             -¼ teaspoon
Powdered sugar                                                   - 4 tablespoons
White pepper powder                                        - ½ tsp
Milk                                                                            - to mix the batter

METHOD
Mix maida,  corn flour, cardamom powder, powdered  sugar, white pepper powder and sufficient milk in a large bowl and mix well to make a thick batter.
Heat oil on a medium heat in a pan.
Cut pineapple into round slices, remove the hard centre portion.
Dust the pineapple slices with ½ cup of maida and keep aside.
Dip the dusted pineapple slices in the batter and mix so that they are well coated with the batter.
Gently put into medium hot oil, and deep fry till golden.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Yummy pineapple fritters are ready to serve.
 Serve hot.
