Varagu kara adai is the healthy , tasty and spicy one. Almost all dals are added in this adai. The batter for Adai is ground thicker and coarser than the regular dosa batter and it does not require any fermentation. This version I have made is, instead of adding ponni rice I added varagu / kodo millet rice and brown rice. Adai is usually spicy, if it is taken with chakkavaratti, it tastes heavenly. The spiciness of adai and the sweetness of chakkavaratti enhance your taste buds.Chakkavaratti is home made.
