Gulab Jamun! Just the name tempts many of us I know many
would be drooling looking at it! This has been the most favorite sweet for
many. This Popular sweet recipe liked by almost everyone. You can make this classic Indian dessert on
any occasion and can make it even if there is no occasion. You can make jamuns
using readymade mix, khoya or just milk powder.. Gulab means rose and jamuns
are deep coloured berries. For a variety i have tried this jamoons with carrots and paneer, Gulab Jamun prepared with carrots and paneer sounds interesting . A perfect combo for

Carrots - 250 grams
Crumbled Paneer - 1 cup
Milk powder -
1 cup
Corn flour -
¼ cup
Maida -
¼ cup
INGREDIENTS FOR SUGAR SYRUP
SUGAR - 1 ½ cups
Water - ½ cup
Powdered elaichi - ½ tsp
Rose essence - ½ tsp
Oil - for deep frying
METHOD FOR MAKING JAMOONS
Wash the carrots
well and grate it. Blend to a fine paste without adding water.
Squeeze out the
excess wayer in the ground carots .
Mix milk powder,
crumbled paneer, corn flour and knead well and blend it in a blender.
Make small balls
in even size and keep aside.
Heat oil in a
karai and fry the prepared carrot paneer balls in batches till golden brown
colour.
METHOD FOR MAKING SUGAR SYRUP
Boil ½ cup of
water with sugar till it becomes syrup consisitency. (no need of to become
string consisitency)
Add powdered
elaichi and rose essence to the syrup
and remove from flame.
Add the fried
carrot paneer jamoons to the sugar syrup.
Allow to cool
and serve .
Yummy carrot
paneer gulab jamoons are ready to serve.
