CARAMELIZED HONEY CINNAMON MACARONIES




Diwali is nearing and all of us are busy with cleaning home, shopping, making sweets, savouries etc. Every year we used to prepare same type of sweets and savouries. It will be boring to us and for our kids especially. Kids need different and unique taste in foods. For moms it’s a tuff job to satisfy the kids taste buds with unique and tasty foods. Here it goes with you beautiful mommies, an unique and tasty sweet dish prepared with macaronis and honey for you to satisfy your kiddies. Try this caramelized Honey Cinnamon Macaronies and enjoy your Diwali........

INGREDIENTS
Honey                         - 2 cups
Sugar                          - 1 cup
Butter                         - ½ cup
Cinnamon powder     - 1/4tsp
Macaronis                  - 200 grams
Water                          - 1 litre
Oil                               - for deep frying macaronis

METHOD FOR BOILING AND FRYING MACARONIES
Boil one litre of water and add macorinies and cook in medium flame till it is half cooked.
Drain the water in colander and keep for some time and wait till all the water is drained completely.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the half boiled and well drained macaronis till crispy.
Drain the excess oil and keep aside.
Meanwhile we make caramalised honey.

METHOD FOR MAKING CARAMALIZED HONEY.
Place honey, sugar and butter in a saucepan over low heat.
Cook, stirring, for 6 to 7 minutes or until sugar has dissolved.
Bring to the boil. Add the cinnamon powder.
Boil without stirring for 5 to 6 minutes or until light golden.
Quickly, pour caramel mixture over fried macaronis.
Mix well and  transfer it into a serving pan.
. Set aside to cool completely.
Yummy, crispy, Caramalized Honey cinnamon macaronis are ready to serve.
