LADY'S FINGER DOSA/ VENDAKKAI DOSA/ OKRA DOSA

Another simple, high fibered  and  heathier breakfast  with our high fiber Lady’s finger, lady’s finger dosa/ vendakkai dosa/ okra dosa.This is a power packed dosa with lot of nutrirtion. This vendakkai dosa is a boon to all those who need a quick dosa because no need to ferment  this dosa batter. Do try out this wonderful variety dosa for your breakfast.



INGREDIENTS

Boiled rice                                                           - 2 ½ cups
Tender lady’s finger ( vendakkai)              - 15 nos
Green chilliies                                                    - 3 nos
Ginger                                                                  - ½ inch piece
small onions                                                      - 8 nos (optional)
Sour buttermilk                                               - ½ cup
Salt                                                                         - to taste





METHOD

Wash and soak the rice for 6 hours.
Wash the lady’s finger  and cut into small pieces.
Grind the soaked rice, green chillies, ginger, small onions and chopped lady’s finger together to a fine paste.
Add salt at the end of grinding.
Add  sour buttermilk at the time of making dosas.
As we do regular dosas make dosas on a greased tawa  till dosa turns golden colour.

serve hot with chutney or any other accompaniments as you wish.
