CHOCOLATE CINNAMON LASSI

Lassi is nothing but sweetened curd/yogurt. It is a best quencher and a cool drink for stomach with lots of health benefits.We have been drinking lassi by adding sugar, salt or spices. For a change I have prepared this thicker, creamier, delicious chocolate lassi for my choco crazy son.A super hit chocolate lassi. Chocolate lassi sounds weird no, Beat this heat with this chocolate lassi and refresh your kids who don’t like lassis. Try this chocolate lassi for your choco fan kiddies.
INGREDIENTS
Chilled thick yogurt     
- 1 cup
Hung curd
- 1 cup
Grated dark chocolate
- 6 tbsps
Honey      
- 2 tbsps
Cinnamon piece
- ¼ inch
FOR GARNISHING
Roasted almonds                                                                -  few






METHOD
Melt the grated chocolate in a microwave safe bowl on high power for 30 seconds or until melted. (you can melt the chocolate by double boiling method also, if you don't have microwave.)
Allow the melted chocolate to attain room temperature.
Mix melted chocolate, yogurt, hung curd, honey,  cinnamon piece  and blend it in a blender until everything is blended evenly.
Serve chilled with roasted almonds garnish.




DOUBLE BOILING METHOD
Turn on the stove's heat to high and bring the water in the bottom of the double boiler to a rapid boil. When it boils, reduce heat to maintain a simmer flame. Place chocolate in the mixing bowl  and set over a double boiler with simmering water, so the chocolate melts gently.
