A delicious candy, every kids favourite not only kids some adult kids too love this. This has nothing but fully loaded with sugar... When I was a kid  I used to enjoy these jujubes, my dad u get these colourful jujubes almost every week. Make this at your home and your kids would be so excited and thrilled. If the kids want to enjoy jujubes, then home made is much more healthy than store bought.

Instead of usual colourful jujubes, I have tried some marble jujubes with twin flavours, mango and chocolate.
Kids surely love this Mango Marble Jujubes. Try it.


China Grass                           –10 gms
Dark Chocolate                     – 50 gms
Mango chocolate                   - 50 gms
Sugar                                     – 1 cup
Water                                     – 3/4 cup + 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence                     – 1 tsp
Sugar                                     _ 2 tbsps


Grate both the chocolates separately and keep aside.
Grind the china grass coarsely in a mixer.
Heat 1/2 cup of water and soak the china grass for 1/2 hour.
Boil  3/4 cup water. Add the sugar and let it dissolve completely.
Now add the soaked china grass and cook for half an hour in a simmer flame stirring often in between.
 When the china grass dissolves completely, it will become thick glossy, remove from fire and keep aside.
Divide the china grass mixture into two pans equally.
Melt the dark chocolate and mango chocolate separately  in a microwave or Let it melt over the double boiler till it becomes a smooth sauce.( Heat a pan with water and place the grated chocolate cup in it, when it melts completely remove from fire).
Remove from fire add this melted dark chocolate to the one half  part of the glossy china grass mixture and to  the other part add the melted mango chocolate.
 Stir till the chocolate mixes completely adding vanilla essence to the dark chocolate.
Grease a plate and pour the dark chocolate china grass mixture into the plate and tap well.
The same way pour the mango chocolate china grass mixture over the dark chocolate china grass mixture and tap well.
With a tooth pick swirl it around the chocolate mixtures to get a marbled effect.
Allow it to come to room temperature.
Cut the jujubes into desired shapes.
 Sprinkle some sugar on the jujubes and press gently to get fully coated on both sides.

You can use cocoa powder instead of chocolates, if so the measurement of sugar should be of 1 ½ cups.
If mango chocolate is not available you can add mango crush  or else you can add mango essence and yellow colour. 
Being kid's favourite we should aware of their of health too, so better to avoid artificial colours.
You can add any other fruit crush instead of mango .
