Have you relished cabbage in the form a crispy fritters that too with makka cholam flour and cheese, so it is aYummy, yummy,,,,,,,,, tasty  and healthy snack too.If you haven’t and are fond of cabbage then you should try this cheese cabbage fritters. 


Shredded cabbage                       - 2 cups
Crushed garlic                             - 1 tbsp
Grated cheese                             - 100 gms
Makka cholam flour                   - 1 cup
Rice flour                                     - ¼ cup
Salt                                                - to taste
Kholapuri masala powder       - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder                      - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder                      - ½ tsp
Dhania powder                         - ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds powder              - ¼ tsp
 Hot Oil                                     - 1 tbsp
Oil                                             - for deep frying


 In a mixing bowl, add the shredded cabbage,crushed garlic makka cholam flour, rice flour, salt, chilli powder, kholapuri masala powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix well.      
Add the grated cheese finally and mix well.
     Add 1 tbsp of hot oil and incorporate well..
     If needed  sprinkle few drops of water and knead well.
    Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
    Take a small portion of the batter with the help of fingers, and drop them in oil one by          one.
   Deep fry them until golden brown on all sides.
   Remove the fried fritters and drain in a colander.
.  Serve  hot with tomato sauce.


Never add too much of water into the pakoda batter.
Always sprinkle water in the form of drops and knead.
Adding water in more quantity spoils the texture of the pakodas.
Adding  rice flour gives crispy touch to the pakoda.
