TAPIACO / MARAVALLI / KAPPA GARLIC ROTIS


We make rotis in different varieties but  making rotis with tapiaco  flour is  simple and easy of course healthy too.  With Crushed garlic green chilies, roasted white til enhance the taste of the roti. While cooking the roti adding ghee increases the taste and flavor of the rotis. Heavenly combo of ghee and garlic makes you eat extra number of rotis……
Prepare this tapiaco/maravalli/kappa garlic roti either for your breakfast or for your dinner. Try out this  healthy and sumptuous dish and put in your feedback.











INGREDIENTS
Tapiaco powder                                  - 1 cup
Whole wheat atta                               - 1 cup
Roasted White til                               - I tbsp
Crushed garlic green chillies            - 2 tbsps
Salt                                                         - to taste
Water                                                     - required quantity
Oil                                                          - 2 tbsps











METHOD

Mix tapiaco powder, atta, roasted white til, crushed garlic green chillies, salt well.
Add oil and mix well.

Add water little by little to the flour and knead well to a smooyh dough and keep closed for one to two hours.

Make the dough into equal portions bigger than lemon size.

Shape into a ball and roll each ball into a round chappati with even thickness.

Repeat the same process for the remaining balls.

Heat a tawa and cook the rotis on both sides, smearing ghee.

Remove from tawa when it is cooked.

Yummy tapiaco / maravalli / kappa roti is ready.


Serve hot with paneer methi kofta or any other accompaniments as you wish.
