Bananas can be eaten deep fried or
steamed. Bananas make excellent snacks for both adults
and children. Pazham / banana varattiyathu is a sweet snack made with bananas. This is
one of
the popular snack of Kerala, South India.
Ingredients:
- Ripe banana - 3 nos
- Sugar – 5 tbsps
- Ghee - 6 tbspn
- Cardamom powder - a small pinch
Method:
- Cut the bananas into small pieces.
- Heat ghee in a pan add banana pieces , sugar and fry for 5 to 10 minutes .
- Add cardamom powder into it and fry for 5 minutes. Yummy nendrapazham varattiyathu is ready to eat .. Enjoy!!
