Avil ( poha or beaten rice ) - 1 cup
Jaggery -
½ cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 2 nos ( powdered )
FOR GARNISHING
Banana pieces - ½ cup
Freshly grated coconut -2tbsps
METHOD
Clean & wash the avil .
Squeeze out the water immediately & keep aside .
Keep jiggery in a frying pan, & add ½ cup of water & boil .
When it comes to one string consistency ( when you drop it
in cool water ,it won’t mix with the water
Or it makes a pellet )put the avil .
Stir well to mix
thoroughly .
Add ghee powdered cardamom mix well & add grated coconut
.
Put out the flame & allow to cool, add the banana pieces before
serving .
