CHUTNEY GODHUMAI DOSA (OR) CHUTNEY WHEAT DOSA

Godhumai dosa or wheat flour dosa is a quick and easy dish which is uaually preapared in twenty minutes. This is also a boon recipie for working women. You can either preapare it for breakfast or for dinner. Usually this dosa is preapared with wheat flour and rice flour by adding seasonings .
I have preapared this dosa by adding coriander coconut chutney in the batter. So no need of any accompaniments for this dosa. Just a spicy pickle is enough.

Gingelly oil                        - to make dosa

Mustard seeds                - 1 tsp

FOR WET GRINDING

Freshly grated coconut        - ½ cup
Green chillies                            - 5 nos
Coriander leaves                    - ½ cup

METHOD

Mix wheat flour, rice flour salt and add water, curd to it and mix well without any lumps.
Add the ground coconut paste to the batter and mix well.
Season the mustard seeds and it to the batter.
The batter should be thin enough to pour it.( the consistency of batter should be very thin like that of rava dosa.)
Heat a tawa, grease it and pour a ladle full of batter from outward in a circular motion to the centre.Fill the gaps with the batter.
Pour one tbsp of  oil around the edges and cook for one to two minutes in a medium flame.
Cook the dosa on both sides .
Serve it hot right from the tawa, don’t keep in the casserole.
Serve with onion chutney.

NOTES

Can add some more water to get the desired consistency to the batter.

VARIATIONS

Can add two to four tbsps of rava to get crispy dosa.
Can also add finely chopped onions with the batter.
