Musk Melon ice cream is an easy,
quick and no ice cream machine is needed. Have a refreshing, flavourful and fruity
ice cream in this summer. What can be a better dessert for these summer days? Other
than this fresh fruit home made ice cream with full of motherly love and with
out any harmful chemicals.
I have used musk melon, you can also
try with water melon too. Hope you will try it.
INGREDIENTS
Musk melon - I small peeled and
chopped
Milk -1 litre
Cornflour - 2 tablespoon
Sugar -3/4 cup
Fresh cream -1 cup
METHOD
Reserve 1/4 cup of milk and boil the remaining milk. In a
medium flame and simmer for fifteen minutes stirring continuously.
Dissolve corn
flour in the 1/4 cup of milk. And add to the boiled milk. Simmer
for three to four minutes.
Remove from flame and add sugar and Stir well.
Allow to cool to
room temperature.
Transfer into a
closed container and freeze for two to three hours or till it is set.
Cut the frozen
milk into small pieces. Add cream,
muskmelon to the frozen milk pieces and
blend till smooth.
Transfer into the
same container and freeze for five to six hours or till set.
Scoop out the ice cream in
individual bowls and garnish with honey
dipped musk melon pieces and serve chilled.
