Have you tried
pakoras from jackfruit seeds, if not just try it out, it tastes almost like cashew
pakoras.Nothing more to say about this unique snack, make it taste it, and
enjoy the taste.
INGREDIENTS
Jackfruit seeds
boiled and blended coarsely -
1 cup
Finely chopped
onions - 2 nos
Besan -
3/4 cup
Rice flour -
¼ cup
Garam masala
powder -
1 tsp
Red chilli
powder -
½ tsp
Ginger -
½ inch piece
Garlic -
5 cloves
Fennel seed -
1 tsp
Salt -
to taste
Oil -
for deep frying
METHOD
Blend boiled
jackfruit seeds with ginger and garlic coarsely.
Mix the blended
jackfruit seeds with besan, rice flour, chopped onions, garam masala powder,
chilli powder and salt, mix well.
Heat oil in a
pan and drop a tbsp of pakora batter in to the oil.
Fry till it
turns golden colour. Remove from oil and drain it in a colander.
Jackfruit seed
pakoras are ready to serve.
Serve hot with
any accompaniments as you wish.
