BANANA FRIED (NENDRAPAZHAM VARATTIYATHU)

     


     Bananas can be eaten deep fried or steamed. Bananas make excellent snacks for both adults         
     and childrenPazham / banana varattiyathu is a  sweet snack made with bananas. This is             
     one     of the popular snack of Kerala, South India.

      Ingredients:
  • Ripe banana - 3 nos
  • Sugar – 5 tbsps
  • Ghee - 6 tbspn
  • Cardamom powder - a small pinch


        Method:
  •  Cut the bananas into small pieces.
  • Heat ghee in a pan add banana pieces , sugar and fry for 5 to 10 minutes .
  • Add  cardamom powder into it and fry for 5 minutes. Yummy nendrapazham varattiyathu is ready to eat .. Enjoy!!
