A yummy dosa for all dosa lovers. Don’t miss this jack fruit season without trying this Jackfruit dosa. A simple easy, tasty and sweety dosa for all dosa lovers. My mom used to make this jack fruit dosas in the jackfruit season and my favourite dosa too. Try this out.
Raw rice - 1 ½ cups
Powdered Jiggery - 3/4 cup
Jack fruit bulbs - 10 nos
Powdered cardamom - 1 tsp
Water - 4 cups
Dry ginger powder - a pinch
Salt - a pinch
Wash and soak the rice in water for two hours.
Wash well again and drain the water Add salt and jack fruit pieces.
Grind to a smooth paste and keep aside.
Place jaggery in ¼ cup of water in a pan and stir over low heat until the jaggery melts. Remove from flame, strain it and allow to cool.
Mix the jiggery syrup to the rice batter and mix well.
Add cardamom powder and dried ginger powder. Stir the dosa batter well .Grease a dosa pan and once it's hot, pour the batter and spread it into a round shape and drizzle a tsp of ghee around the edges of the dosa. and fry both sides till cooked.
Yummy jack fruit dosa is ready to serve.
