JACK FRUIT PICKLE


Ingredients

  • 500gm raw jackfruit cut into small pieces and boiled
  • 8 Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • Rock salt as required
  • 1 cup oil
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1½ tsp dried mustard seeds (powdered)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1½ tbsp lime juice
  • 1½ tbsp Vinegar

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chillies crushed along with rock salt and cook for 2 minutes
  • Add the boiled raw jack fruit pieces, turmeric powder, chilli powder, mustard seed powder, and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
  • Remove from heat and add lime juice and vinegar and stir well
  • Pickle is ready to be serve
