Another Jack fruit dessert for all of you. Can you guess the dessert out
of jack fruit. You may have tried chocolate mousse, mango mousse, straw berry
mousse etc. Suddenly an idea jumped to my mind, why don’t we try mousse from
jack fruit, that too gelatin free and eggless!!! Here is the birth of eggless jack fruit mousse.
You cant stop eating this once you have tried
jack fruit mousse. Try it our dear friends and enjoy this summer with a
unique cool cool dessert.
INGREDIENTS
Jack fruit puree - 1
cup
Milk - 1 cup + 3 tbsps
Custard powder - 3
tbsps
Sugar -
4 tbsp (adjust accordingly to the sweetness)
Fresh cream -
1 cup (whipped to soft peaks)
FOR GARNISHING
Finely chopped jackfruit - 1 cup
METHOD
Dissolve custard powder in 3 tbsps of milk and keep aside.
Boil the milk and Prepare custard by adding the dissolved custard powder
into the boiling milk.
Add the jack fruit puree and cook the custard mixture till it become
semi thick.
Remove from flame and allow it to come to room temperature.
Meanwhile whip the cream till it reaches soft peak and gently fold the
jack fruit custard mixture to the whipped cream.
Layer the bowls with finely chopped jack fruit and prepared custard.
Decorate the top of the mousse with finely chopped jackfruit and chill
the mousse in refregirator for 30 to 40 minutes.
Yummilicious Eggless gelatin free Jack fruit mousse is ready to serve.
