Paneer Semiya pakoda / vermicelli pakoda is a tasty and crunchy snack made
with semiya / vermicelli, paneer and potatoes. This is an ideal evening snack. This is
very crunchy and tasty too.
INGREDIENTS
Roasted Vermicelli - 1 cup
Onions (slice it lengthwise) - 3 nos
Cooked potato -
1 no
Crumbled Paneer -
½ cup
Ginger garlic green chilli paste - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Bengal gram flour -
¼ cup
Rice flour -
1 ½ tbsps
Chilli powder -
1 tbsp
Cumin powder -
¼ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Aam choor powder -
½ tsp
Garam masala powder -
1 tsp
Oil - for deep
frying
METHOD
Boil the vermicelli till soft adding a tbsp of ghee and
drain the water well and wash with cold water and drain it in a colander.
Mash the potatoes, sliced onions, ginger garlic green
chilli paste, salt, spice powders with boiled vermicelli, Bengal gram flour,
rice flour and crumbled paneer.( do not add water)
Add a tbsp of hot oil and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and take the dough in your hand and
drop a big gooseberry size dough into the hot oil.
No need to make into proper shapes.
Fry till golden colour, and remove from oil and drain it
in a colander.
Hot paneer vermicelli pakodas are ready .
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
