BETEL LEAF / VETRILAI KUZHI PANIYARAM

An unique "herbal Snack" with betel leaf / vetrilai  to enjoy your evening with tea .
spicy kuzhi paniyaram tastes heavenly with the combo of small onions and  garlic. Try out this herbal evening snack and put in your suggestions.

INGREDIENTS

Raw rice                                                - 1/2 cup
par boiled rice                                      - 1/2 cup
Urad dal                                                 - 1/4 cup
Makka cholam flour / jowar flour      -1 cup
Salt                                                          - to taste.
oil                                                            - for deep frying.
 Green  chillies                                 – 2 nos
Small onions                                     - 10 nos
Garlic                                                  - 2 or 3  cloves
Ginger                                                 - ¼ inch piece            
Betel leaves                                        - 4 nos







METHOD

.Soak urad dal and rice together for two hours .
Grind, rice, and urad dal together .
Add jowar, other ingredients and salt  and blend it well.
 keep aside the batter for two hours .
After two hours , preapare paniyarams in a paniyaram pan with ghee or oil .
Cook the paniyarams in medium flame till the paniyarams become golden brown .
yummy Vetrilai / betel leaves  kuzhi paniyarms are ready to serve.
