GOOSEBERRIES / NELLIKKAI / AMLA ADAI

Nellikai / amla / gooseberries adai is the healthy , tasty and spicy one. Almost all dals and grains are added in this adai.  The batter for Adai is ground thicker and coarser than the regular dosa batter and it does not require any fermentation.  This  version  I have made is, instead of adding ponni rice I added  brown  rice.  And The Indian gooseberry, known  as nellikkai or Amla,  that is famous for its nutrient rich fruits. It has been a common ingredient in the ancient Indian medicinal practice of Ayurveda. It’s a potent source of Vitamin C and also contains iron and calcium. Because it is so versatile, it has become a favourite among the health conscious masses.so I thought of  adding this gooseberries to adai and make it more healthy.
