MANGO FRITTERS

An easy snack from half ripened mango to enjoy your tea time.Try this mango  fritters,you just love the crispy outer shell with the sweet, tangy and soft mango inside and it’s perfect with some hot tea. Select the mango that’s slightly firmer ones as they tend to soften once they’re hot.If it is too soft, you’ll not be able to handle it enough to get the batter on.







INGREDIENTS:

Maida                         - 1 cup
Corn flour                   - ¼ cup
Rice flour                    - ¼ cup
Cardamom powder   - ¼ tsp
Half ripened mango  -  2 nos (peeled and cut into wedges)
Honey                         - 2 tsps
Any cooking oil                       - for deep frying











METHOD

Mix  maida, corn flour, rice flour, cardamom powder with ½ cup of water and ¼ cup to ½ cup of milk.
Add honey to the above mixture and keep aside for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan.
Dip the mango wedges into the batter, and  gently slide it into the hot oil and fry in a medium flame till it becomes golden colour on both sides.
Drain it in a colander , yummy mango fritters are ready to serve.
Enjoy  with a cup of hot tea.
